In that case your mechanic will need to program the mileage, hours and VIN to ensure the proper operation of the cluster.

If the cluster is not properly programmed you may get error messages regarding the braking system. You or your technician will also be required by law to attach the odometer replacement notice sticker to the drivers door frame specifying the mileage before the replacement and the date of the replacement.
